Description

After 250 years, how the Storm glass works is still a mystery, but it is believed that it has to do with the electromagnetic changes caused by weather and sun storms. The appearance of different crystal structures inside the sealed glass chamber indicates changes in the weather two days in advance. The glass chamber is encapsulated in a beautifully crafted polished brass cylinder.

This version of the Storm glass is made by the Danish company, E.S. Sorensen. It can be displayed freestanding or mounted to a boat bulkhead or wall using a mounting bracket that can be purchased separately. (ES 55 02 01)
